Mr. Capizzi has taken to trial a wide variety of cases.  He has tried cases involving auto accidents, injury on property, construction accidents, dog bites, products liability and general negligence cases of all types.  His verdicts range from $50,000.00 to over $5 million.  He has particular experience in difficult liability cases having won many jury verdicts where insurance companies made little or no offer of settlement before the trial.  He recently was invited to join the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum and is an active member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, the American Association of Justice (formerly known as the American Trial Lawyers Association).  In addition he was just elected to the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).  His practice takes him to all areas of Western New York, and he regularly appears in both State and Federal Courts.  Mr. Capizzi has participated in lectures and panel discussions on current topics in personal injury law.  He has also given media interviews and appeared on radio-talk shows on these topics.  He is a cum laude graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo and its law school.

In addition to his trial experience, Mr. Capizzi also handles the firm's significant appellate cases.  He has protected hard fought trial victories and reversed wrongly decided decisions from the trial courts.  Many of the appellate decisions he has worked to obtain are precedent setting, and they share a common goal to protect and expand the rights of the injured to receive full and fair compensation as the result of the wrongful conduct of all those responsible.  He has briefed and argued scores of appellate cases.  Some of his published and reported decisions are:
