Mr. Shelton is a graduate of Allegheny College, where he earned the Alden Scholar Award, and the University of Buffalo Law School. He is a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, New York State Bar Association, and Erie County Bar Association. Mr. Shelton has litigated personal injury cases in Erie, Niagara, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, Genesee, Wyoming and Monroe Counties, and in Federal District Court for the Western District of New York. He has also argued appeals in the Appellate Division, Fourth Department, and in the Federal Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
Mr. Shelton has over 30 years of experience handling personal injury cases involving motor vehicle accidents, product failures, accidents on premises, construction site and labor law accidents, medical malpractice, and marine accidents.
