Trial Lawyers Of The Year Award

Don Chiari, Mike Scinta, and the Brown Chiari trial team have been awarded New York
State Trial Lawyers Association’s “Trial Lawyer of the Year” Award by its Western New York
Affiliate. The award recognizes outstanding trial work and comes on the heels of the
landmark $100 Million verdict Mr. Chiari and Mr. Scinta obtained in 2024. The verdict was
the largest of its kind in United States history. Along with Mr. Chiari and Mr. Scinta, the trial
team consisted of Brown Chiari lawyers, Tim Hudson, Brian Hogan, Andrea Conjerti, and
Scott Covino.
The presentation of the award included recognition of Mr. Chiari and Mr. Scinta’s past
successes on behalf of injured clients. Notably, Past President, Paul Isaac, referenced the
lawyers’ unwavering tenacity over the years. Mr. Isaac emphasized the multi-million-dollar
settlement and trial successes in all areas of personal injury law including automobile
accidents, construction accidents, slip and falls, nursing home abuse, and injuries caused
by products. According to Mr. Isaac, “this is not something that is easily accomplished
time and time again over the years. They have obtained some of the highest recoveries in
Western New York and across New York State.”
